Why employer and job verification matters

Verification ensures that the companies and jobs listed on Prosple are legitimate and trustworthy. It also helps us prevent scams and fraudulent activity. That’s why with every new company and job listing on Prosple, we take the time to make sure everything is as it should be. 

Our employer and job verification requirements

As an employer, when you first sign up, all you need to do is provide some basic information, like company name and contact details. This helps us confirm that all employers we work with are the real deal. 
Here’s what we ask employers to provide: 
  • Key contact name and title 
  • Company name 
  • Company website (i.e., the URL of the company’s official website) 
  • Company ABN/BRN (or local equivalent) 
  • Business email: (i.e., an email address that corresponds to your organisation e.g., yourname@company.com).

In some cases, we might request additional documents if an employer is unable to meet the initial verification requirements. These documents are always confidential and won’t be shared publicly.


Our Multi-step Verification Process

To ensure the legitimacy of every employer and job on our platform, we follow a comprehensive, multi-step verification process. In addition to gathering key details, we perform several internal checks, such as reviewing publicly available information about each business, including website, professional profiles, and other relevant online sources.


This process also incorporates advanced tools, such as online profile assessments, AI-driven analysis, and domain verification checks. If any inconsistencies or concerns are flagged during this stage, we conduct further reviews to verify employer details and will request additional proof of legitimacy in order to proceed. 


By using this layered approach, we are able to proactively detect and prevent fraudulent activity while ensuring that legitimate employers enjoy a seamless and efficient experience on our platform.

Getting Verified: Employer Steps

Here’s a quick rundown of how the verification process works for an Employer: 
  • Sign up to Prosple: Employers create a free Prosple account by filling out the form on our website.
  • Create a job post and consider boosting (optional, but recommended):  Employers fill in details about their job opportunity and decide how much budget they want to spend to increase its visibility.
  • Verification and review: Our Customer Success Team will swiftly verify the employer’s information and job listings to ensure they align with our verification standards. 
  • Confirmation and approval: Once an employer’s profile and job post are verified, we send a confirmation email and a login to our Employer Portal so employers can jump in and start monitoring their job applications.
