Since launching in 2015, Prosple’s Top 100 Graduate Employers has been a trusted guide for students navigating their first career move.
Over the past decade, it’s grown considerably – which is why we decided it deserves a new name: Employer League.
Why the name change
When Prosple’s Top 100 first launched, the name made sense: one list of the 100 most sought-after graduate employers.
But in recent times, the product has grown beyond a single list. Our research showed that students wanted rankings tailored to their chosen career path, rather than one overall list.
That’s why we have deliberately evolved the Top 100 over the past two editions, introducing for example:
- Rankings by career path
- Rankings by Brand Strength based on large-scale student surveys
- Rankings by graduate and intern experience such as culture, training and career development based on verified reviews
- Rankings by salary
- A grading system (A+ to D)
In doing so, we found that the Top 100 simply outgrew its name. That is why we’re renaming it to Employer League.
A league is a shared standard with a table that shows where everyone stands. Your position reflects your performance. In other words, you can’t buy your way into the league; it is the data that determines the outcome. That’s how the product already works – the new name simply makes it explicit.
What’s changing – and what isn’t
The product itself is the same as before. The rankings, data and grading will continue with the same methodology – just under a new name, Employer League.
The name change will be reflected both online and in our print guide, supported by an updated visual identity.
We look forward to sharing more details on this soon.
